Here at FC Media, we focus on being the
best at 2 things: creating videos that
viewers love, and then creating products
that serve their needs.
We very much believe in the importance of trust: while we have projects (that usually have deadlines), we trust our team’s expertise, and let them manage their own schedule in a way that works best for them.
All of our positions are remote, which means you can work wherever and whenever you want! (In fact, founder Sarah Chrisp can often be found working remotely all over the world – from her hometown Christchurch in New Zealand, to San Diego, to London, and even the Sahara Desert in Morocoo!).
This level of trust and autonomy means that you need to be a driven person, that is not afraid to take initative and use your own judgement. We love to see our team members come up with new, innovative ideas and to see their talents shine.
And because we know that our team is very talented, we strongly value each member. Not only do we offer competitive compensation, but we strive to have a friendly, understanding environment and culture. We hope that if you join our team, that you’ll love it so much that stay with us for a long time!
We always appreciate it when qualified people contact us and recommend themselves to be part of our team, so even if we aren’t actively hiring, feel free to get in-touch.
Understanding of the different topics of our YouTube channels (Ecommerce & Travel) is a bonus, but for many positions isn’t necessary.

We trust your judgement, your ideas and your expertise. We also trust you to complete projects on time to the highest standard that you can and to be honest with us - which is why we’re more than happy to offer such a flexible work schedule.
Having initiative means that because you know you’re good at what you do, you aren’t afraid to tackle new projects and complete them without having your hand held. FC Media’s director, Sarah, is often busy (and traveling!) so sometimes communication can be delayed. In these cases, you aren’t afraid to “give a project a go” in the meantime.
We treat each team member with respect. Life sometimes gets in the way and we understand that. We also understand that while work is important, there is something that is even more important - our families.
Quality Over Quantity
Our viewers and customers are at the front of our mind and we’re passionate about serving them. We aren’t looking to make a quick buck: we want our viewers to love our content and our customers to get immense value out of the products they purchase. In everything that we do, we put our best foot forward. It may not be perfect the first time, and that is OK - we learn from the past, and build on our previous experiences to make our next project even better.
